Well I got my $40 Clutch Fix in the Mail today. Got here much faster then expected. Now I gotta go the Ford Dealer and see about that set up with the Master/Slave Pre-bleed Set up. Do I need a Part number or anything or they will know what I am talking about? I was also looking at some of the Prebleed systems online at Napa, Advance Etc. They are like $240+... Hope they ones at the Ford Dealer are $100 or a little more like you said Strokin_tatsch...lol.. If I gotta pay too much I will just buy seperate and bleed myself..lol

Huh.. That's quite odd. I didn't even know the parts store has pre-bled systems. LOL. Maybe my pricing was messed up or something, but if it is too much then try the slave cylinder first. They are more prone to go out on these trucks than the master from what I've seen.

Yeah I didnt know they had them either, Thought I would Check since usually the Part stores are usually Cheaper then Ford. Oreilys has a Set up for $164. Here are the Few that I found.

1. Advance Auto Parts: TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder, Slave Cylinder and Line Assembly by Perfection - Part PF9005___

2.
Store Locator | NAPA Online

3.
PowerTorque PFHK009 - Clutch Master And Slave Cylinder Assembly 1997 Ford F-250 | O'Reilly Auto Parts

I really want to just do the Master and Slave at the same time.I am gonna Check at the Dealer this Week and see how much they want for the Set up, If Not I am gonna Check out the 3rd one I listed From oreilys. Its More then I want to spend but It saves me From having a second person there to help me Bleed the new set up. I am also gonna Cut off the of of the Rod on the New Master for my Clutch fix. (I hate Cutting up New parts but better now then later..lol)

Well I took My Master and Slave Cyl out On Friday, As I was taking the Slave off I saw it was leaking. So that was my Issue with the No pressure in the Pedal.

Well I want to Ford to see about this Pre-Bleed Set up, They said they dont sell those set ups for these Years anymore. So I asked how much would it Be For The Master and the Slave Seperate... The Lady told me $144 Each.. I Pretty much laughed at her and I left..lol.. We all know how much a Slave and Master are at the Local Auto Part store.

I Ended up going to O'Rielys Auto And got the pre-bleed set up for $160 Bucks. It was a little More then Buying them Seperate But was a Lot easier to Install.

I also Installed my $40 Ebay Clutch Fix Before I Installed the pre-Bleed System. Much easier to do when the master is out of the truck. Bought me a Cordless Angle Grinder Last week that Came In handy for this Job. Only Problem I had when Installing the Clutch Fix is they say to Cut it off as close to Eye on the Rod as you can. Well the End of the Rod Close to the Eye Does not exactly have the 3/8 Roudness to it Like the Heim Joint does. It is Kind of square for about a 1/4 inch before it gets round. Obviously a Square Rod will not fit in a Round Fitting. I didnt want to Cut off another 1/4 inch to get to the Round part of the Rod. Took the Grinder and Rounded it out till it fit snug. Worked out well.

With the new Master and Slave along with the Clutch Fix, Man the Clutch Feels Totally Different. It is so Smooth, Like Butter. Has pressure Throughout Pushing the Clutch in, So easy to Press down Compared to how it was before, It would Wear my Leg out if I had to hold it in for a long period of time. It is like Driving a Different Truck with the Fix. After Driving it today I am still not use to the way it Feels, But I like it...lol.

Thanks For everyones Help during the Simple Process, It was well worth the Fix even though I spent a little more then I needed to.

whoever that was that told you $144 each on the clutch master and slave was smoking crack. I got the slave for way less than $50 from Ford along w/ a new line.. Don't remember how much b/c it was awhile ago.. Glad you got it up and going again and like the results. That heim joint makes a nice difference in the clutch pedal feel.

Yeah thats what I said to them at Ford. I mean The Master and Slave at the Auto store are what Like $50 bucks or less a Piece? They didnt even price a New line for me, cause I was gonna use my old one. But I am sure it was some Outreagious Price. She also was trying to tell me I need a solienod somewhere in the Set up.. Basically since they didnt have the PreBleed setup she was trying to sell me Master,Slave,Line and a Solienod all Seperate. I made her stop when she said $144 for the Slave...LOL... Well for $200 bucks with the Clutch Fix its All New from the Pedal down, Should Last me a good while or Maybe the Life of the truck.

Anyways thanks for your Help through the process, Was Pretty easy to do if you have the Correct Tools. I could have used a Flash light during the process but I used the Light off my cell phone...LOL

Well All those Parts that I put on the Clutch set up(PreBleed System and Heim Joint) I am back where I started. Lasted me about a Month...... Pedal is back to staying at the Floor again!! I am thinking maybe the Slave Cyl went bad? I just dont get it, I guess I gotta get up under the truck and see whats going on, If I dont decide to Run it into a Tree so I dont have to work on it anymore...lol
