Auerdoan has good advice. Concern yourself with safety first, then reliability. Once you get that sorted out, you can start on the cosmetics and details. Depending on how far gone it is, you can figure on $1000 for brakes, another $1000 for suspension and steering, and $2-5000 for running gear and drivetrain stuff. After that, you can go really nuts on the 'little' things. Good luck with your project, and enjoy.

finally got some pics of both
Here is a picture of both of them the Green truck is a 50 F3
Pretty good looking pair of Bonus Built Trucks lots of history here. I guess the F3 came from south padre island area. The F1 came from locally about 15 miles north of me in Eldorado Kansas i guess it had stacks at one time coming up through the running boards on both sides.
Motors free flat head 6 really hope i can go through the carb and put fuel lines on it,change the oil, plugs, charge the 30yr old battery, start herup.
Not too bad of an interior? could be worse!

I don't think that's a stock '48-50 radio, at least from what I can see in the picture you posted. If it was, and it works, it could be worth a few bucks, they're hard to find. At one time a total junk one would sell easily for $100+ on the 'Bay. Right now the prices are rather depressed, I sold one a while back, it didn't work but cosmetically it looked pretty decent and only got one bid for $45.
I would like to ask you for a favor, could you go back and edit your post with the pictures and line them up under each other, when they're spread out it makes it really hard to read the posts, thanks.
