AE Help - KOER test procedure

Need the procedure for doing the KOER test. I don't understand what and when I am supposed to do the steps regarding turning the wheel , brakes etc.

Any help would be great. Does the KOER test, test the cylinder contribution? If not how do you do that test and procedures if required.

Thanks really appreciate some help!

I dont remeber about the KOER test and the sterring and brake thing. But the cylinder contribution test can only be run with the upgraded connector. Would have cost me about $100 more to exchange mine. I called them with the number on my connector and they told me in a few seconds Icould not run it.

What screen are you on when you try the test? The interface prompts me on when to do what. I simply follow the prompts.

I recently upgraded to V9.0, but the screen was the same on the V8.X versions. There is a tab in the interface called "Test OnBoard System" where I run this from. The screen prompts when to turn the wheel, touch the brake, etc. Sorry, I can't figure out how to attach a screenshot.

Yea I did that too but didn't notice any prompts. Was it a screen that popped up or just some text in the window?

Thx

I called Autoenginuity. The guy said don't worry about prompts. Once you hear the RPMs change do the following:

Press brake pedal
Crank wheel all the way to either right or left
Press tow/haul button

Said doesnt matter which order.

Ill try in the next couple days and see if it works. Let me know how it goes for you.

I am actually on the road, won't be back home until the weekend, I can check again then. What I recall from memory is the information box toward the middle center of the screen is where the text was appearing.

You are correct! I didn't notice it earlier, but there is a brief description of the test and it states that the brake pedal must be depressed, steering wheel back and forth and tow/haul on-off.

I was able to perform the test with this scheme, THANKS!
