Would you tow a 35' car hauler with a F250?

I bought my 06 F250, 6.0L for towing a 35' goose neck car hauler. I am wondering if anyone has experience towing a setup like this. The trailer I am looking at is a 35' kaufman, wedge, tandem axles, both with brakes. I want to haul my two rock crawlers, my 01 Isuzu Vehicross and my 93 Trooper RS. They weigh about 4K a piece, and I figure the trailer is 2 or 3K. I already have the goose neck hitch installed. I am looking to pick this trailer up tomorrow:

and tow these two on it. The two SUVs are 16 feet long each.

I figure if I keep the trucks as far aft on the trailer as possible to minimize weight on the rear axle of the F250, it should be no problem.

My concern was having the Zu up on the upper flat portion would put a few thousand pounds on the rear suspension of the F250. While I have no doubt that the truck will handle that, we tow from Charleston,sc to Moab,UT which is a LONG *** WAY, and a lot of mountains. I just had the rear end rebuilt, and it runs fine. Only has 93K miles, last trip towing just one truck on a tag along trailer I got about 20mpg.

just make sure you got some miles on that fresh rear end before you tow that distance...

otherwise i can see no problem with the weight/trailer..

It'll do it, though you may have to much weight on the rear axle to be legal. You'd have to put it on a scale to be sure.

Tongue weight will be your only concern

and u should take it to the scales as soon as you load it up to get the actual weights..

the CAT scales only charge about $9. you should measure three times

truck, and trailer, and loaded.

get the axles on separate weigh pads.. then you will know front, rear and trailer separately

I bought a dually to do something similar, 40-48ft enclosed.
haven't done the trailer yet.

will the 250 pull it, absolutely.. question is whether u will be over the rear tire ratings..

You guys were thinking along the same lines as me. We shall see. If I keep the trucks as far back on the trailer as I can, I think I will be alright. I can weigh for free on the local airforce base.

That trailer has about the best setup I've seen to reduce tongue weight.

Since the hitch point is at the very front of the trailer, much of the cargo weight will be transfered to the trailer axles.

I pull a 40' 14K 5er with mine, does it just fine. My rear comes in around 5700 lbs if I recall.

My rear axle is rated for 6100 lbs, yours should be the same.

That is a big trailer! I originally wanted a lowboy flatbed, so I can set up tents on it. But the price I am getting this wedge hauler is unbeatable. The winches that are on it cost damn near half the price I am paying for the trailer.

I like that car hauler as well, bet I could make a few bucks with that one.
