97-psd is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I run it almost every time I fill up, maybe it is my imagnation but I can tell a difference in how the injectors sound if I forget to add it

Well let me admit that I am bad about not measuring exactly.
2-3oz of DK w/16-20oz of 2-cycle.

^I would like to know as well. I have a 45 gallon tank. Anyone run tranny fluid? I have ran hydraulic fluid in there as well. Runs like a firecracker when combined with Lubro Moly!!

I use about a 1/3 DK to oil, then about 16oz to a fill up would equal bout 3/4 oz of the mix per gal

I ran tranny fluid in mine for years but then I learned here about the 2-cycle.Switched to it because it is a burning oil.

Ah, I have never ran it. So, roughly one quart per fill up....I always fill it up when it's a 1/2 tank. Cool, I'll give it a try.

Is using an additive like Stanadyne enough or should 2 cycle be added also?

Can I just add regular 2 cycle oil like what you would put in a weed eater or any type of lawn equip or does it have to be a special type of 2 cycle oil? I have alot of quarts just sitting around would like to do something with them.
