Don't believe the ScanGauge II is compatible with our trucks. Their web site indicates (except diesels). Also I doubt the one you have the link to above will work. Our Ford trucks use a special protocol and most OBDII compliant scanners won't work. Ford got away with this due to the GVW and were exempt.

actually...

I have been emailing back and forth today several times with the support guys at UltraGauge, and they said that this unit will work with our diesel trucks, that they have tried it and the only gauges that will not work are the Fuel Usage and the Mileage Gauge.
So, I am going to buy one in the next couple of weeks and try it and see.
They also said it will read and clear the error codes such as the check engine light.
They said if it I did not like it, that I could return it and get my money back.
So, I will let you guys know.

I hope you like it and it works well, but two of things I would want to monitor, boost and EGT, are not available so I am not sure how beneficial it will be for our trucks, but let us know how it does, if it works well I may order one for the wife's honda
