Expedition Expectations

Just got a 2008 Expedition off of a lease, 60K. Runs and looks great. My menchanic said the truck was in great condition.

What do I need to watch out for and what have been the experiences everyone's had with the Expedition. Tow a bass boat during fishing season..

I don't like surprises and want to know what to expect. Have had two Explorers before this Exped.

Thanks.

You probably have the standard 6000 pound towing package with the only 4-pole boat trailer electrical connector. Just keep your bass boat below 5000 pounds and you and your fishing buddies will be fine.

My '07 is due for her 75K service in the next couple weeks. No issues towing my travel trailer.

Thanks Chuck,

No problem on the weight. Probably 3000 max. with gas and gear. I do put on alot of towing miles though. That was never a problem with the Xplorers.

Thanks again.
