2.5" hitch reciever standard with SRW &6.7?

I got the 2.5 in reciever with my Lariet. What's the deal? Are all of them coming with it including Gassers or just 6.7's? And is it just the Lariets?
I have a Debo Step which I love and it doesn't fit the new 3in. crosss tube of the hitch. Bill at Debo step is wondering if all new Fords are coming thru with it so he can ration makeing a new version. He went to a local dealer and they didn't have any on the lot.

Also Valley 2.5 to 2 in adapters would awesome. Reese adapters didn't work.

I've got the 2.5" on my 250. FX4, CC, 4x4, camper pkg, 14k tow. The adapters are tough to fit. My dealer gave me the Ford adapter, which is good b/c msrp on it is $50. Others have said they are supposed to come with the truck but I can't find any evidence of that. All the aftermarket adapters require a hammer, Ford part slips right in.

I bought a 2" adapter from my local hitch shop for $25. Slipped right in with no problem.

I have an 08 with the 2.5 in hitch.. and had no trouble with the one I picked up from tractor Supply.

and they never come with the Ford truck for free. you can buy them extra
(or convince your dealer to GIVE u one)

as noted above, only ONE hitch comes with the 2 in receiver.

I went to 4 places (2 RV stores, Uhaul, and TSC) and none of them fit correctly. They were all too big. There's some talk of this issue on here, I believe the thread is titled 'Arrrrgh'. Seriously. Then the one from the dealer slipped right in.

the Arrrrrgh thread was because he had one of the drawbars with the built in hitch pin mechanism..

I have seen the topics about the adapters not fitting..

Yep, the Aughhhh thread was mine lol. I did find out that Diversi-tech (DT) made a 2.5" billet adjustable drop and ordered two of them in order to get one here in time. I just sold the other (pending funds in the mail) to an FTE member.

Used one from U-Hual it is a very snug fit which imo is good to elimate slop. Also put never sneeze on it, helps on the install and removal, other wise they well rust in place and be very diffficult to remove. bastech

And one of my post's from that thread

From etrailer- comments on the Ford 2.5 receiver.

Titan Reducer Sleeve 2-1/2" to 2" Draw-Tite Hitch Accessories 58102

Note: Ford OEM hitches have a tighter/different radius on their 2-1/2 inch receiver tubes. To accommodate the OEM Ford 2-1/2 inch hitch, the corners of a ball mount, shank or reducer sleeve may need to be sanded down to slide into the hitch. Do not remove any more material than necessary. Simply removing the paint or powder-coat is often sufficient.

I got the titan brand one and same thing. It didn't fit with the sticker but slid right in with the sticker removed.
