this is true, the only experience i had it on was older fords with the 460 in front of it though, (90's fords), however this just happened to my buddys 7.3, and when it POURED out, he blew the front seal. its a 15$ seal on an E4OD, but the tranny has to come out to replace it. your best bet is someone who knows about transmissions, because if you dont, its a whole different world back there with an automatic lol its not as simple as an engine, at least not to me anyway. good luck with it man

I have had days like this... Stock tires are a joke. First and last time... went right to Terra Grapplers after this. Not a heavy load, but sunk right in. 4lo with the lockers on and she walked out... luckily... it was less than 48 hours old, I would have been truly embarrassed if I got it stuck the 2nd day of ownership...

I swear the stock tires on these trucks suck. Look for something a tid more aggressive. Even stuck, the trucks looks awesome!

your right, those junk *** stock conti's did suck worse than anything...but i have firestone transforce with approx 50% tread on now(pictured) and they suck too! going with bridgestone revo duelers next time. since the truck has never had any problem with the weight, i have never used 4lo...without diff locks installed i always went with the high tire spin strategy when stuck

ever find a solution?

i blame our stock BFG Rugged Trail's. they look good, but really stink on wet grass.

I hate to admit it, but if it is wet out and a trailer needs to be moved, i'm inclined to use the exploder. it does not get stuck, i blame the Cooper ATR's

here's my contribution:

the wife's truck and 6-horse gooseneck.
