Would rather be working on my truck.......................
..............but I have a teenager. Some of you already know what I'm talking about and some of you have this to look forward to.
I wanted to reduce the pile of parts I've been gathering for my Super Duty and get some upgrades done but instead I got to spend my free time straighting the sheet metal for my kids truck, at least enough so that she can drive it back and forth to school. I could have had it fixed but figure driving it like this for a while will be part of the punishment.
At least my SD helped me with the repairs, hence the post in the "Working" thread.

Paul, I feel for you Buddy, and am not looking forward to those days (mine are 8 and 6). I had a Mazda pickup very similar to that when I was in high school and college and even hung around in the family up until a few years ago, great truck that required virtually NO maintenance in 14 years and a couple hundred thousand miles.

Bob,
Your right about these little trucks. I had 2 Rangers/Mazdas when I was younger and they are great little trucks. I had hoped this one would last for both my kids that are still home. Have my doubts now
You mentioned 2 kids. My theory now is don't spend much on their first one cause they are gonna bend it. We're 2 for 2 with one kid yet to go. Shopped around and found a really nice Honda for the 1st kid and it lasted 3 months. Now I just want to find something that doesn't cost a lot, runs, is a stick(make all my kids learn on a manual) and won’t leave them stranded.

It should have been secured on a rack or carried on a trailer.
