Here's a pallet of grass sod.
My wife and I ended up going back for another to finish up our yard. The dude at the grass farm said a pallet of grass weighs ~2000lbs depending on the moisture content. It sure made my truck ride smooth! haha

Here's a pic of the 2nd load

A professional question here, I'm a landscaper and have never seen slab cut sod, is that because of southern blend grass? Up here in Ontario, Canada sod is all rolled and stacked.

I honestly don't know!
All I know is that in my experience and from my area and for the last 20 years, Grass has always come in a square pallet. Interesting.

this is one of my favorite threads, so it is getting bumped to the top!

i always forget to take pictures when i use my truck, but recently ive helped my cousin move with it, hauled around 10 sheets of plywood and a bunch of 2x4s for my uncle, 15 bags of mulch for my friends mom and some other assorted stuff. and here is mulch i brought home for the yard

my uncles truck we use for installing above ground pools, 2004 F550 6.0 auto 4x4
