I can't hear my truck. Only makes noise on first start up. Once warm......nothing (figuratively)

Thats how my old 5.4 was, but the injectors ticked pretty loud on it. Once i put an MBRP muffler on, it started to sound like something was under the hood, still no noise on the highway

well we also have a banks stinger exhaust you can't hear to bad in the truck but outside you can hear it well. Our truck is sound proofed inside so that helps but with the windows down it just sounds sweet. But going up hills when towing is when you really can hear it. But at all times it isn't so annoyingly loud like our B2 with straight thrush pack.

Hey Ger,

Thanks for the link, thats a good looking kit. I would be a little worried about using adapters and long term reliabilty with a load, but the kit looks good on that truck for sure.

I went from a SRW 250 to my DRW 350 for towing a 14k dump trailer. The DRW truck definitely handles the load better. I know it's a different trailer but I know the truck tows it better.

You're welcome Sarge, I don't see a problem but maybe more research needs to be done, it looks official that's for sure.....

YEah MD, no doubt I would love the stability of the dually, my truck handles the 23k 5er well, but I would like a dually, just dont want to shell out the money for 1.

This looks like a viable option, Im just curoius about the long term durability with the adapters, most of my time behind the wheel of my truck involves towing of some sort.

Ihave tossed this idea around in my head so many times, I may just do it.
