cab frame brackets + 351m/400 motor towers & parts
I am looking for a good set of these if anyone has them:
I also need a set of the frame towers for a 351m/400 that would bolt in to a 77' f150.
My truck has 6 cylinder mounts now and I'm building a 400 for it.
I could also use parts for the 400 such as distributor for duraspark, intake, valve covers, oil pan, etc... all the small things.
I have everything that you need except the good cab mounts. I have everything motor related though. where are you located in NY? I may be able to assist in delivery also....let me know
It would be for a 4x4. I knew they were different but forgot to mention which ones. I actually have a question for you. Would any towers 351/400 towers bolt up to my 77 frame or were there multiple styles for the 4x4's over the years?

Cobleskill!!!! My family has a house in Sprakers...we're almost neighbors...oh yeah the towers that i have are from a 79 F150 4x4..they should be fine. I know the 250 4x4 are NOT the same...if you are not in a hurry for these parts, i am planning on heading up there around new years time....maybe earlier..let me know what else you need, or how you want to go forward...you can PM me also...

What are the last six digits of your trucks VIN? Is it a Super Cab or not?
Despite what someone claims (he has no Ford truck parts catalog-I do), some 1977/79 F150 351M/400 4WD's use the same supports as F250 4WD's and 1979 F350 4WD's, some do not.
Since there are three different types, I'd rather not have to type six (3 right/3 left) different part numbers, so I need the info.

Well, I stand corrected. I have never seen a 79 f150 with the same towers as the same year 250/350. I also have never torn down a supercab....I apologize. That being said, i still may have what you need... I could also give you the vin from the truck my part are coming off of...
I'll post up the vin when I get back home in a hour or so.

One of the guys from my dads work actually lives in sprakers and has a black gta with a 383.
Do you still have the whole truck that these towers are from? Might have a lot more useful parts than I realized.
I have almost all the truck, in addition to a whole mess of parts for 73-79 trucks. I even have the frame and entire rolling chassis from the 150..engines, axles, wheels, trans, etc..lots of little stuff too..just sold a mint shortbed off of it..
JustBlaze I've got a pair of 351M/400 motor mount frame perches/towers off a 78 F250 4x4. If you can get me the measurement from the center of the top perch/tower mounting bolts to the inside edge of your frame I can tell you if mine will fit yours.
