Anyone here mount lights on a roof rack or on one of those thingys that mount on the "drip rails"? I have a yokima load warriar roof rack, and i have been wanting to mount like 4 lights on the front of it, but i cannot find anything anyone sells to mount them. The ones yokima sells looks like "micky mouse" ears, because they would put the lights above the rack. I want to mount 4 lights from the lower bar on the front of it, for clearance off road and to reduce the "micky mouse" look. Anyone ever do this or know of anything like mounting brackets or something to avoid drilling or welding on the rack? Any pictures?

 

i havent seen any aftermarket ones yet well i havent really looked either.. a lot of guys around here have them on their bII's but they look custom.. sorry im not of much help

 

Wow...this was a while ago. I ended up making one out of some flat stock aluminum bar. I measured my current roof rack, cut the bar to size, and drilled some holes appropriately spaced. I am using 3 clamp type brackets which clamp the bar to the front top bar of the roof rack. I painted the entire assembly black to match the rack and truck. I am running 4 Hella 500 lights, the 2 on the ends are driving lights, and the center two are spot lights. I also have 2 Hella 500 fog lights mounted on a brush guard on the front bumper.
