I guess there's no real point to this thread, just thought we could use it to share some of our favorite songs. Funny how music (especially country music) can reveal so much about yourself.
I heard this song for the first time on the radio a couple days ago and really took a liking to it. It kinda spoke to me - seems to sum up how I've felt quite a bit lately.
An adaptation of "Do you hear what I hear" Christmas carol...
Said the Forddude to the Snowbunny:
Do you see what I see?
'Way up in the trial, Snowbunny,
Do you see what I see?
A Ford, a Ford
Driving in the night,
at a speed faster than light.
Said the Snowbunny to the Idaho guy
Do you hear what I hear?
Revving thru the field, Idaho guy,
Do you hear what I hear?
A Ford, a Ford
Flying around the tree,
With a motor as big as the sea
Said the Idaho guy to the mighty Casey
Do you know what I know?
In your truck cab warm, mighty Casey,
Do you know what I know?
A Ford, a Ford
Skidding in the cold,
Let us bring beer that’s really bold.
Said the Casey to the FTE ev'rywhere:
Listen to what I say!
Hope for Fords, Fords ev'rywhere,
Listen to what I say!
The Ford, the Ford
Driving in the night.
Ford will bring us greatness and might.
...occasionally I get one of those moments to change a songs lyrics, guess I am a little touched... you know, not quite right at times, a half a bubble off plumb. Just ask the Snowbunny, she knows.
