I'm looking for someone that lives in or near Fairmont City,IL that could look at a car for me. I live near Sacramento,CA and I'm trying to save a trip out there to look at this car. It's a cool 1934 Buick sedan.
Anybody out there that can take a look?

Well here is a waste of your time about nothing……I thought I could maybe help. I live 10 miles from Fairmount Hot Springs, B.C. and bought some wiper arms on eBay from a friendly old curmudgeon (just like me) in Fairmount, USA and was going to give you his name but it turns out he is in Fairmont, ………….Nebraska

Sorry I tried, oh well, I guess it occupied me so that I wasn’t being mean to newbie’s.

Are you in a big hurry? I live about 2 1/2 hours from Fairmont City, Illinois, but won't be going that way until Christmas. If you can wait, I can stop by and take a look a the car for you in December.

For you old timer it's the thought that counts and I do appreciate your efforts.
Lance, it might be that long because the seller doesn't seem to want to deal that much. We're only about $2000.00 apart but because of the cost of getting the car out here to Northern CA. I'm not willling to meet his price. It apperars to be a nice car but they are only worth so much. If it drags out that long I'm going to contact you again and see if you can help me out and Thank You for the offer.

Thanks again for the offer and to anyone else needing something like this out here in sunny California, I'd be glad to help.
There is another forum,Club Hot Rod, and a couple of guys said they live within 20 miles of the car and are going to take a look at it. It sounds like it's going to be taken care of but if things don't work out, I'm going to hold you to your promise, just kidding.
