Chaparral A/P tires

Anybody ever drove on Chaparral A/P tire?

I had a good deal on 35"x12.5".

I need somebody to tell me if they are worth it?

Chaparral A/P tires

I had them as my last set of tires, and they are not a bad tire. I got about 30K out of them with regular rotation. One thing that suprised me was that they didn't pack with mud or snow much, for and all-terrain tire anywise. Buy the way I had the 265/75-16 size.

Chaparral A/P tires

Have a set on my '92 Explorer, and I like them. I haven't done any hard-core 4x4ing with them (yet), but they've taken me everywhere I've asked them. I've currently got 30K on them, and I think they may go another 20K-30K before the tread is gone. I like them enough to have just put a set of A/T's that I found on clearance on my BII.
And FWIW, I was told they were made by Cooper tire. Is there a relation between National and Cooper?
