also the single green wire and connector with grn and blk wire

This is for the Tach feed, there is a matching connector for this, if you do not have a tach it really does not matter.


I have not seen a harness with 4 red wires before.

Do you have a V8 or I6 engine?

this rebuild 460 was in a 1981 Bronco which I am installing in to 1995 F-250 with 5.8L fuel injected engine. From an old Bronco schematic the four wires go to the ignition switch. There are two wires that are RED and one that is RED/2 wht strips and one with one wht strip? But what pin thy go on I do not know. The schematic says pin #4, #5 but wiring harnes has no numbers.

 

You do realize this is the 6 cylinder board? Might have more luck on one of the V8 boards.

 

that extra wire might be for the light that came under the hood. i just picked up a hood for an 82 and it has a light[on the passengers side hood] that pulls out to work on the truck at night.[it has a spring that pulls it back in to it's housing]
