ok well new tranny is in the truck and now i have this really weird vibration that feels like its coming from the front end. it only vibrates when your decelerating. you let off the gas and thats all you can feel but as soon as u touch the gas pedal its gone. any ideas anyone?

 

does it make a growling kind of noise?

Nope. put it up on the rack today and it took me about 2 secs to find the problem. those bolts that bolt the drive shaft to the transfer case sheared off. only 1 bolt was holding it so it was flying around. destroyed the carrier bearing too.

 

Sounds like you caught it just in time before disaster.

 

I was getting ready to say check those. Mine had a vibration like that. Mine all backed out. I put locktite on mine and have been fine since.
