running down to empty

i to have great 6.0 with 189,000 on her.glad you have one to,but be carefull running to low on fuel you can cook your injectors if they get a shot of air.

The hardest part is getting the bolts out and in on the rear of the motor. And there is no guarantee you doing have compromised gaskets.

I've had mine for almost 5.5 years now with over 85k miles and the only problem that my truck gave me (a blown turbo) was my own fault (cheap tranny tuning). This truck has been stellar and has been 10x better than my 97 7.3L PSD! I'm glad I bought it and I'm always looking for a reason to trade it in on a 2011, but I just don't have any reason to! Great truck!

It's such a great vehicle that my wife now wants me to get her a 2005 Excursion with the 6L diesel. The only problem is that I've put so much into this truck that I can't part with it....and I can't justify 2 diesels.

oh I don't care about spelling most times spell check gets me ..
but the accidental word and the context were funny ...

I am just saying what compromised the gasket was suspicious ?

Truck just turned 100k friday night. still have the egr delete and arps waiting to be installed.

I wish I had your luck. I've had my truck for 8 yrs and 197 K miles. I've already dumped more than $500 dollars into in repairs!! Gezzus, will it ever end ??????
