I'm desperatly searching for a shorty or straight out like turbo exhaust headers that would fit on a 1996 2.3L.
Anybody has an idea?

 

Is this for a N/A engine or are you going to turbo it? I have played around with both types. The late Ranger cast iron exhaust manifold is a good flowing piece for what it is. I have seen one aftermarket "no name" "shorty" header and I thoulght it was a bunch of crap! I would take the Ranger piece over it anytime. It also is loads better then the early 2.3L exhaust manifolds and it's cheap and available at your local "pick-n-pull".

Thank's a lot for your help. We've been able to modify the original headers but with a lot of work. I found nothing for the 4cylinder 2.3.
