We still have one dead cylinder to contend with. I replaced the plugs last week before my test drive. #8 was heavily fouled with fresh oil after the engine died. The same plug was oil fouled before I changed the plugs. I'm puzzled as to where the oil came from. All I can think of is a broken guide or something similar. There was literally oil running out of the exhaust port. My sister lives in Florida, and the bus is in Nebraska. I have no indoor place to work on the bus, and I sort of loathe the thing right now as it is. The bright spot is that it's at least 5 tons of good old American steel, Beside, I really have no use for it once it's fixed.

FT engines:

The timing cover C4TZ6019E is the same: 1964/78 330 H/D; 361/391.

The timing gear C8TZ6256B is the same: 1964/78 330 M/D; 330 H/D; 361/391.

The timing chain C4TZ6268A is the same: 1964/78 330 M/D; 330 H/D; 361/391.

The crank gear C4TZ6306A is the same: 1964/78 330 H/D; 361/391.

The timing pointer C4TZ6023A is the same: 1964/78 330 H/D; 361/391.

The 330 2V M/D (MEDIUM DUTY) is based on the 352/360 FE engine, why some of its parts are different.
