just bought an 89 idi and its all stock with 92000 original miles . wondering the best exaust setup to run

strait pipe is was i run it loud as hell if u have a turbo it will quiet it down

i cant say that's the "best" setup or not.lots of things like duals,and or larger/x-pipes/stacks.
find your "best" option.but there's some ideas for ya anyway,to get started with.

only problem with the exit before your tire is the black smoke turning your truck and bumper black.

dual 3" into single 4" is the way i did it.
oreo, i dont roll black and the way it is positioned it doesnt do much to my rim. i also use the armorall wheel protectant. friggin awesome stuff!!

Lmao yeah some SS tips on stacks, what reneckery can we think up hahaha

dont smoke empty, throw a trailer on there and you'll get some, take a hill with that trailer and you'll get plenty. thos damn soot doesnt take much to blacken everything

i cant roll black if i tried. my ip is in need of a replacement. i get just a haze at full throttle when loaded. that is with turning up my pump 1.5 flats. i have thought about turning up the pump a flat or two more but hey, the thing just cant get it done. when its inbetween 160 and 140, it doesnt like starting too much, played with timing again to see if i could combat the issue, no love. running 1/2 quart of 2 stroke to keep things kicking and it seems to help, but its going to fail soon. we shall see. new one on order, bought the 92-94 turbo pump, cant wait to see how much different it is!

mine will roll coal in every gear when im pullin a heavy trailer. its turned up 1 and a half. i want to turbo it though, it works hard on a heavy trailer.
