Today was the day set aside for the replacement of the rear window and weather strip. That back went well and i was able to help.

i started feeling poorly and they through me out and told to go home. The rest is second hand info. They got the front glass out on and had to patch some holes. Everything was going fine on the windshield till the last corner going back in and it cracked on them. He said he might know of a glass shop to cut a new front windshield. if not I will need to try and find one as a new one is too much money with shipping and all. we shall see.

I am a very blessed man. Everybody has stepped up to help and I am over whelmed by it all. I just can say enough thanks....

jim

ps, Just got a text and shane said the truck wanted to stay up at the shop for a few more days..... see what i mean????

Wow, this brings up memories.
Unfortunately Jim passed away a while ago. I never met him personally, but he was a great guy.
slick50fordpu, welcome to FTE! please start a new thread and show us some pictures of your truck and keep us updated on your progress. This is by far the best forum around.
