I'll have to crawl under my 49 and look at what remains of my old crossmember. The one on HAMB does look a little different than mine (whats left of it), but I could be mistaken. Hey Havi.... I once threw away, yes threw away a complete steering column and front suspension axle, springs and all from a 48 F-1. That was WAY before eBay, cragslist and other sell/buy sites. Makes me dang near sick to think of all neat old stuff I discarded...... As far as the crossmember goes... a little higher than expected n price but I havent been able to find on anywhere else. I even considered an aftermarket set up but I cannot find anything like that as well. AS a side note, I will be repalcing the master brake unit to the original spot. Some nut mounted a freekin HUGE one on the firewall. Now I have to figure an inconspicuos(?) wat to hide that hole.... Oye!

Check your email. I can refund your money so you can get the ones on eBay. If you're not successful, then you can always get a set again from me. No problems here.

To expand on this a bit, if anyone has the 215 cid I6 and original frame mounts, can we get a measurement between the two mount holes? (center to center) And maybe a measurement from the front crossmember straight forward, so that we can get a triangulated dimension to these, and then we can compare them to the earlier flathead I6 and V8?

I can likely do that, but the mounts are definitely different. I finally found the set of 48-51 mounts that were cut from a frame, and also have the same mounts in the 51 Panel. I compared the loose ones to the 52 and they're different.
