need help finding a 53-56 f100!!! 200$ finders fee

i've been on a search for a 53-56 ford f100 for awhile. i've come across a few but have been out of my price range, which is 5-8k. im looking for one with no rust and must be in running condition. the thing is that i live in canada so if you can find one in canada or one that has an option of being shipped to canada. i've been searing everywhere online but cant find anything. with me being fairly new to the clasic truck scene i feel like my knowledge of where i can find one is limited.

a 200$ finders fee will be paid only if i end up buying the vehicle

thanks
robert,

This probably should be in the classified section. If you had your location listed it would help. The people on this site will go out of their way to help you for nothing, believe me.

Importing a USA vehicle is not impossible but it is not for the faint of heart.

Hi Robert, and welcome to this site. There are many very helpful folks here.

Please edit your user profile to tell us about where you live. It probably wouldn't make sense for someone in Maine to look if you live in Vancouver

Are you looking for a truck to restore to original? or are you intending to go to the darkside and change the running gear and powerplant?

I realize that not all of these meet your criteria but just to get an idea of whats out here. there were a few others as well but priced around 20K +-

I had seen a few other 56 F-100's recently but couldn't find them.

Good luck in your quest to find that perfect truck.

Cheers

Josh

If you want a rust free truck you need to be looking in the SW US, that's about the only place 60 year old steel hasn't rusted. That's what I did to find my rust free 56 panel. I really doubt it is that difficult to import a truck that old into Cn, would have no real tarriff value in the gov's mind, customs doesn't add colector's value. To them it is just a pile of old scrap metal on wheels. But finding a rust free one is well woth almost any price since body restoration is a major cost. I'd say a rust free 56 body and chassis might realistically fetch 5-6000.00 $US without a drive train and 10K+ in drivable condition. 53-55's will be less.
