This is not my engine. I copied this photo from someone on this forum, and I hope they don't mind me reposting it. This is the best looking 300 I have seen. A lot of attention went into every detail and it shows. Enjoy.

I used the rustoleum hi heat paint. It is rated for 2000 degrees i think. I sanded them down with a wire wheel and painted and baked them in the oven per their directions. I have had about 4 heat cycles on them so far and they still look good. Some slight discoloration, but still better then rust colored.

air intake

Hey Sidewinder can you tell me more about your intake air filter set up. That looks like it would work well for my conversion.

302 MAF system, a reusable filter....As for the tubes...

I had to cut the factory I6 tubes, and then simply slipped the 302 tubes over the I6 ones...Then installed..

The smaller tube was a simple thing too....
