I came across a free 6.0L Intercooler with one tank that was blown off. Everything is in good shape minus the fact that the tank is completely removed off one side.

Is there any way to fix this? Or, is it just a lost cause?

 

Check with a good radiator shop, if it can be done they either can do it or can refer you someplace that can.

 

I'll pass. Before I installed mine, I had it tested to 40 psi. If it failed, I'd have screamed for a refund.

No way would I install one that has blown tanks. Let somebody else install that but why would I want something that has blown out once already with the plastic side blown off?

 

Free? Iwould at least check what the repair would cost before writting it off. JMHA
