back again

So here we are a year later darn near and I am proud to say the swap is done boys. 5.8l efi ripped apart and carbed out. Took a lot on the timing but got her to turn over. I have a c6 behind her. I had to fab up some motor mounts. To easy. Tranny was almost compattible with original e40d. Had to fab up some extension type brackets for tranny for extra support. Biggest issue so far has been fuel. Original fuel pump pushes 95 psi from tank...way to much for a regulator. It blows right through. Put an inline electric on rail but it wouldn't pump enough through original pump. So regardles...old pump got the boot and now I have perfect fuel ratio. Still have to hardwire alternator figure out poer steering pump a throttl cable build some tranny lines and have drive shafts extended and yoke changed. Will be using a manual cable to lock in four by on the front diff. Will be postingpics and video of first fire in the next few days. So.....ya it can be done. A lot of work but plausible.

Dixie

Shouldve bought an Aeromotive A1000 regulator. It will handle it

Well she's been sittng. New years eve floated around and we kinda just jumped into it. Deployment time kinda put a halt on progress or commo. Regardless I'm pretty excited. Should be on the road in a month or two
