new update...got the old wiring harness out while still keeping all my electronics i wanted to remain. for future reference on this subject...dont cut out anything you want to keep. i.e. i listened to a friend of mine and cut the head lights and the blinkers about two foot out, realized they would have worked after i made the big cut, so i had to rewire them back into the remaining harness. then i figured that i would use some common sense and just cut the main wiring harness that cut across the dash..and cut it off, capped it and taped it. bam still have all my head lights and blinkers, brake lights interior power everything i wanted to keep. have the old dash board ripped out and will be builiding my new one out of sheet metal starting this friday. now that the electrical part is out of the way, i will be tackling the dash with all my new gauges...
well unfortunately i got no advice besides garb and yank from everyone so i was pretty much on my own. so i grabbed...and yanked. lol. well. anywho. i got the job done.
lol that was a funny come back. im about to be grabbing and yanking more often if i dont finish this project. lol. the wife is sure i am having an affair in the garage. lol. but i wont lie. my truck is my mistress. going to buiild the dash board today. so now out into my little smal town to see who sells sheet metal. im sure it wont look beautiful when its done, but as long as it works ill be happy. later mud.
I looked back through all my g2g pics and didnt come across any of anyone holding hands. I did find a pic of Paul passed out at every event we've had though. -God bless us every one.
