Window runner felt

Hey all,

Is there any place I can buy that felt-ish stuff that is inbetween the metal window runner and the window?

I went to NAPA and the guy said that's something I'd have to get from a dealer! I sure hope not!

If you don't know wher to get it do you have any tricks for simulating it?

Thanks,
Dan

Oh wow thats pretty pricey! Does anyone make it so that its universal and you can shrink/glue it in place or do you have to get the formed stuff?

That I don't know. But, I think that I would prefer the formed stuff. It would probably make a better fit if it was formed specifically for our vehicles.

You can usually find the channels for the older vehicles for a decent price at car shows. We were going to get a stick (I think 8 ft) for $20 for the bronco but I didn't want to carry it around so its on this years list of things to get.

I do hear that there's a trick in bending it to fit but I don't know what it is.
