Just pointin out to the 60 guys that I ain't interested in a debate over it. Nothing wrong with the 60, dam good axle, I just like the 50 and its potential. Sounds like all you need is a front end alignment and bigger tires. Make sure the 35's will clear on the 4 inch lift. Def gonna fill up the front wheel wells. Also start looking for an f350 front driveshaft and tcase yoke incase you develop a vibration in 4wd

Sometimes the drives chatter in the spindles on 4wd, dependin on bushing conditions.

Dont cut the bumper though. shim it out with some washers.

well im buying a new winch ready bumper next summer any ways so cutting it seems pretty easy and safe. idk if putting washers in would be easier or compromise safety at all.

I like the TIB axle too and I've aligned several hundred over the years. Their only problem is other alignment techs whos motto is set the toe and let it go. Go find a good one, I'm retired now, and you'll be just fine.

Yeah. Local guy here knows his ****.
Uses a really old school machine too.

He's good enough to even center the play in the steering wheel. First time I've had a guy manage to get the play dead center.

So how would one go about finding a GOOD alignment tech/shop without trial/error and wasted $$$?

Make some phone calls and tell them exactly what you want done. They should bring up questions about extra costs of swapping caster camber shims and parts. If the guy tells you you'll be in and out for 59.95 in 20 minutes then you need to go somewhere else. The first alignment after your lift will cost a little more since they will have to change shims.
