So I am going to replace my mirrors with a tow type manual mirror. Therefore the power control for my current mirrors will no longer be needed. So I was thinking of mounting the rotary switch for tuning in the location that the power window adjustment **** is located. My thoughts are it would be cheaper to return this to original than drilling a hole to the right of where my wait to start light comes on. From a wiring point of view, will this work or is the dash a much better option? I probably will never have the need to return it to stock, but you never know. Opinions and pictures welcome. i did not know these trucks had a power mirror option. anyway, i put my chip selector switch on the door panel by the window/lock switches

 

That would be where the trucks with power mirrors switches are. Right above the door lock and window switches.
