Name that connector..

I like this game! LOL

Going through, buttoning things up, tighten this, check that.. Have this connector that is driving me nuts! It comes off of the harness that originates from the distro box, wraps around the radiator, hooks up to the headlights, turn indicators and MAF. But this connector isnt connected.. Its next to the coolant resivior....

Where does it hook up to? This is on a 97 7.3 DIT.

On another note.. The AC compressor connector, from the compressor the connector runs into a harness to where?

Finally, who would have a diagram for the starter relay? I cant find one for a 97 7.3 DIT readily availbale!

That plugs into a harness that runs through the firewall IIRC. I will try to get you a pic...

What do you need to know about the starter relay? I don't have a diag. but I might be able to tell you what you need to know, maybe?

What we had discovered is that the plug I have in the picture up there, is connected to an independant harness that runs from that connector, over to the engine, into the alternator and the AC compressor..

This explains why I had those connectors still open on the engine side, as well as the fender well. I scoured the shop for that peice, but I think i am SOL. As for the relay, its coming together! I can repost pics soon!

No, mine is not, and thats why the question....

The relay is not hooked up, nor is the AC connector, Alternator, and a few other things. Reason being is my truck didnt come equipped with a diesel, now it is! I had stripped everything down, every last wire disconnected, and everything refurbished and now in the process of reconnecting! These were things I have been putting off getting done, and my memory isnt so hot! LOL!
