stage 1 injectors = hard start?

I recently put in stage one injectors from Jim at rosewood and everything has been fine with the running but now its alot harder to start, before i did them id let the key run its clycle once and crank and would always fire, But now i gotta crank it once stop let it cycle again and then it will start. The glowplugs are like 500 miles old,got a stancor gpr, 140 idm, No chip anybody have a clue or is this how it is with stage 1's?

When my truck was stock I was able to start as soon as the "light" went out on the dash. Now I need to leave my key on for another 10-15 seconds before I crank or it won't fire or sometimes catches and sounds like its running on about 2 cylinders. If I leave it on like I said it will fire. My glowplugs are under a year old ( did when mods done) but I'm not sure I'm not in need of a new gpr. I've never changed it and I'm sure its original, I've owned the truck for 10+years.

i havent driven the truck much since they been in maybe 5 miles, since the rest of the truck is in pieces! I thought maybe it was air but wasnt completly sure, I did just let the glowplugs on for a min and try to start but still wouldnt fire untill the 2nd time then it fires right up.

It takes a few starting cycles to get back to normal (besides getting some miles on it). Mine was still starting a little hard for a day or two after they were in.

yep same here after some drive time it will come back and start like it did.any time i've taken injectors out seams to take longer to start till it gets all the air out
but you will like it with the stage 1's
good luck
