Did my tank with is today. Man this stuff is great. No more worrys . One step more towards firing that mother up. It has to dry for 4 days so MAYBE next friday i will hear my brand new 65 289 RUN. WOOOHOOOOO !!!!!!
I used the tank restore kit and my (Mitsu Eclipse another project) tank and it turned out like new. It was a real workout on a newer style tank with all the baffels and the constant turning and shaking of the tank but you are right it turns out like new when done. Well worth the investment.

Its humid her in fl. for sure. I am going to hook the dry vac to it 2mor. and let it blow all day. Thats how i got it dry after the cleaning process. Hoping it will speed up the curing process. Can't hurt it anyway.

Just curious, you are going to reverse the vac and blow into the tank, right? I wouldn't suck out flammable fumes with a vac and have a chance of having the fumes accumulate in the vac bucket and work themselves into the motor. That could make for a some fireworks
yes i blowed air in . and yes i'm in fl. in the panhandle west of tallahassee. Tank worked out great. NO MORE TROUBLES WITH RUST HERE. ITS LIKE NEW AGAIN.
