f100 f150 chassis

I have an chance to pick up a pretty clean 78 f100 2wd reg long bed for 800 bucks. I also have a 85 reg long bed 4wd chassis with new ball joints tie rods wheel bearings new brakes all bushings sand blasted and painted etc. I am hoping the older body will bolt up. Any insight?

Thanks,
Sean

a friend put a 60's bumpside onto an 89 bronco...wasn't a straight swap by any means. It'll work, but i'd suspect some fabrication work is in order
