CDR to manifold grommet?
Hey all,
Truck is back running after multiple open heart surgeries, now just tracking down the little details.
Somehow in all the wrenching, I seem to have lost the grommet that is between the CDR valve and the Intake manifold. I have the CDR bolted on, but there is a big gap and it seems to buzz at idle.
I have found the part # for the CDR and the pickup tube, but can't seem to locate the manifold grommet. If anyone knows where to get one, that would be a big help!
Thanks!

the grommet does exist but he is referring to the manifold grommet, not the valley pan from what he is saying. It is easy enough to just cut it out of fuel hose or similar rubber. It can also be made from sillycone! if you have some laying around, make a fat and wide 1/4" bead all around the CDR and let it cure overnight. This is how i replaced mine when it cracked in half. now i have a custom one from some fuel hose i glued together, had some 1" laying around so i split it down the middle and layed it out, made my stencil and cut it out. works perfect.
