What type of rims for 1985 f350 dually
I just bought a 1985 f350 dually rollback from a guy out of state. he says it needs new rims and tires on the rear before I drive it far. I plan on taking a set down when i pick it up. My question is "Are the 16 8 bolt dually rims for the back supposed to be coined or not?" Since the truck is 300 miles away i want to make sure I take the right set of rims and tires along. I'm brand new on here. i also have a 1998 f150 supercab so I'm sure I'll be on this site alot.

"1985 is a transition year between the coined and the hubcentric wheels.
if it is a Dana 70 axle, chances are it's coined.
if it is a Sterling 10.25, it's hubcentric."
So if you find out what axle it has. you will know what wheels
a D70 had 10 bolts on the diff cover
a sterling has 12
