Installing Pull Rite 5th Wheel Hitch

Is there anyone that has had a Pull Rite 5th wheel hitch installed on the new 6.7. Apparently the urea tank is in the path of the older hitch frames. They make new frames for $400. Someone has apparently modified the old frame with an extension and installed the bolts from the inside to the outside.

Any comments or experience would be GREATLY appreciated. I hate to spend $400 when there is a simple modification.

When I was ready to order my new truck I contacted Pull Rite about a kit to use my Super Glide. Was told there would be no kits available and none where on the drawing board for the immediate future - so I am getting a new hitch and selling the Super Glide.

Is your truck a long or short bed. I see a frame kit listed for the 2011 long beds, either super brackets or super rails.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

There is NO PROBLEM UNLESS you are installing a slider on a short bed diesel. My sandblasted frames WILL WORK!!!!

Pullrite was very helpful and answered my question promptly!!!!
