i found something else you may want to consider if amber is the way you are looking to go.
Ford F250 2005-2007 Yellow OEM Style Fog Lights | Ford F250 OEM Style Fog Lights
I know the brackets don't fit an '11 model but you should be able to either get some for an '11 or pull those lenses off and install them on the correct bracket. not quite as cost effective as say the plastic film idea but still sort of neat.

So i just purchased a F350 Crewcab with 8ft bed and a Texas BrushGuard from RanchHand to cover my grill. It has cut outs for fog lights and I would like to install them as well. Any idea where I can get the lights and the harness? I read in the manual that the current headlight switch can be 'pulled out' to turn on the fog lights. Does this mean I will need to get a new switch or use the one in the truck? Thanks

I pulled this up on my phone so I don't know for sure the link will work or not but yes the headlight switch I'm talking about is the actuall pull out black **** on the left with the little symbols on it. What you need to make sure of is wether or not you have a symbol for the automatic headlights. It looks like a little circle with an "A" in the middle. If you have this then you need to get a kit with the switch for automatic headlights. If you don't, then you need the switch without automatic headlights. The switch you will be putting in will replace the original dash mounted switch **** assembly. If you are still unsure, you can usually give those guys youre VIN number and they can figure it out for you or you can go to a dealership and they will tell you. Aside from the switch, there is no difference between the models of trucks. I have an XLT and it went in very easily. The kits come with the switch. You just need to be able to tell them which one you need.

Sounds good. Unfortunately the link did not work and I tried a search for the item# 58636564136 and nothing came up. I know I do not have automatic/daytime lights. When you say give 'those guys' your VIN number, who are you referring to? Sweet truck by the way! I need to figure out how to post a pic of mine in the near future.

looks like if you have an XL then you need to install a fuse block or something also but it doesn't look hard. i'm sure plug and play. chances are that is replaces one that you have currently and just adds another little chunk of fuse block for the fog lights and maybe some other stuff. make sure that when you replace the fuse block you try to take a few pictures of it and swap one chunk at a time. it looks like finding where it is is the hard part. the rest is just unplugging the old one, plugging in the new one and bolting it down.
here is another link that you can use. this one should work better.

Awesome. I will contact them and look more into it. My only issue is that I have a Ranchhand Legend Front Bumper replacement/brushguard and I'm not entirely sure what the OEM lights will look like installed. 2011 Ford F350 Superduty Legend Front Bumper
May need to go with some bigger lights but don't want to deal with cutting wires, etc. Plug and Play is the way for me...

you could get the kit, sell the bulbs and install some different lights after you splice them into the fog light wiring harness. that would be the cleanest way to install them and still keep the factory look inside and use the factory switch. that picture has factory fog lights in the bumper so thats what it will look like.

Hello all, I'm new to FTE but have always been a fan. I;m hoping you guys can help me with a OEM Fog Light kit install on a 2012 XL F 250. I recieved the oem kit today and it has a Body control Module (BCM)included in the kit and the instructions are saying that I need a vehicle communication module (VCM) and Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) software with appropriate hardware or equivalent scan tool. I'm a pretty capable mech and can do the install but this has stumped me.
