You will need to swap over the fuel lines and tanks for EFI operation, BUT there will be a problem with the sending units, Ford changed the way they work in 87 so on 86 and older the guage will read full when empty and empty when tank is full!

I ran into that problem when I put EFI on my 84 F250. I wound up pulling and remounting the 84 sending unit into the EFI tank with some creative mounting ways....

As for the the flywheel not sure about that. 351 and 302 have a diffrent ballance weight on them....

You will need to migrate the high pressure inline pump. Going with the EFI options you will need to get 44 (+/-) psi running to the fuel rail. You can also go with a number of after market applications for the fuel delivery. There are some options that can work with adapting your current fuel system with an in line high pressure option. I would take this opportunity to bring that engine into the 20th century while you're at it. If budget permits I would go to a stand alone, tunable engine control system and eliminate the TFI-IV and EEC-IV ignition and engine management systems from 87. That will eliminate any future issues you might have with tuning and maintenance. F.A.S.T. (Fuel Air Spark Technology) has some great options to do this and but would require harvesting the wiring harness from the 87. MSD offers a "ready to run" distributor that is great for the F.A.S.T. upgrade and would require a new ignition coil. You will need a good wiring diagram for both years with this option just to keep things straight, but the pay off is worth it. If not, you will still probably need to go to a wide band O2 for the EFI (Included with the F.A.S.T. option). Don't get side tracked with any kind of MAF conversion... not practical.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
