Scan Gauge or AutoEngenuity

I'm trying to decide which would be the better purchase, to have the scangauge in the truck all the time, or the AE?

Is the AE that much better or more powerful that it would be better to have it instead?

I have a Scanguage. I like having info available anywhere at any time. Not just for diagnostics, but for watching the sensor outputs I care about in any/all operating conditions. I know what's "normal" on my rig that way.

I made myself that question and opted for Scan gauge.

This why I choosed the scan gauge. Other reasons was price, and you need a lap top, easy to use, etc.
