That is a good sign David. I sure hope this solves your issue. Did you treat the terminals with some Nolox (sp?) or something similar? It will prevent future corrosion issues. You can find it at Home Depot in the electrical department I believe.

It is a good sign. The passenger side batterys negative post was corroded the worst. I treated the posts earlier this year. After cleaning again i re-treated them. I cannot remember the name of the chemical.

Isn't it great when you can come here with a problem and get the advice of a lot of different people. You can usually find someone that has had the same issue and get everything taken care of quickly.
I think you fixed it for now.
But the corrosion is caused by leaking battery posts and you really need to replace the batteries or the problem will be right back.
