I just got back from running errands (finally got a good set of surveyor signs!) and the roads are still slick!

I am taking the afternoon off to go riding, so I hope it warms up a little.

 

Yes it is flying by, because I am leaving work at 11:30 today

Well we have a decent day here also today. Finally sunny and not much wind at all. We have been waiting for the wind to die down all week to replace a huge plate window in town. Well that finally happened today.
Gonna be a good friday. Plus my rotors and pads came in, so now I have something to tackle tommorrow.

5 below zero and not a cloud in the sky this morning.

Well, I finally got my sled torn down on Saturday. Took two of us 3.5 hours to get the motor out of the sled and another hour to get the motor torn down. When I got the motor apart, I discovered that all 6 crank bearings are bad! I can't believe they were still holding up! That crank was ready to blow to pieces at any time!
Now hopefully the crank rebuilder can get parts and get to work on the backlog that he has alread, or I might have to sit out the beginning of the riding season!

 

Morning Jason, I guess earlier would have been better!

 

Yeah, I have been waiting for my dad's shop to have room, not too mention the fact that I wanted the sled hoist!
