I keep records on an Excel spread sheet.
Since January 1, 2010 I have traveled 20082.00 miles and have purchased 931.096 gallons of fuel.
The average over 9+months is 21.568 MPG. This includes a Highway and City driving, obviously much more highway than city.
Highest was 26.06 MPG and lowest was 16.15MPG.
Greatest quantity of gas in one fill-up = 20.671 after 513.8 miles 24.86 MPG
This is averaged over 66 entries into the spread sheet and includes every weather condition imaginable (snow, rain, head wind, tail wind, 110+ heat and <10).
No jack rabbit starts, always anticipate stops and traffic slow ups, shift to neutral at stop lights.
2009 Edge now has 39135.7 miles on the tracker.
I'm trying to wear this one out so I can get one with the 3.5 EcoBoost.

2009 MKX purchased new now has 26,xxx miles on it. Had it to the stealership to have all four rotors turned and new pads installed. All four were warped. Stealership took care of the problem, all under warranty. No other problems to speak of but I did notice a small oil leak just to the left of the oil pan that I want to dig into a little more on a different thread.

2010 MKX 34k also the best vehicle I have ever owned. This vehicle has never even stumbled and I drive approx. 1k per week in all sorts of conditions. During yesterday's major snowstorm in NJ I was climbing steep hills with ridiculous snow drifts with no hesitation. I can't for the life of me understand how this MKX is so good in the snow with 20 inch wheels but it is!

Wife's daily driver is a 2008 Edge AWD Limited, has 51,500 miles on it now. Only repair was the PTU seal covered under warranty. Bought used with 34,000 miles. Change the oil every 5000 miles, just changed some of the trans fluid at 50,000 (drain and refill, can't access filter without opening up trans). Averages about 22 mpg with 75% highway.
I also will give very good review on how good it does in snow and ice conditions. Better than my Expedition as long as not real deep snow. The lower clearance makes it start to plow if too deep.
