207,500 on my 03 ranger with the 4.0

 

211,000 on my '96 with 2.3L. Bought it with 203K, did some minor maintenance to the motor(timing belt, water pump, plugs, wires, coils) and it runs like a top. Did some major maintenance to the outside(2001 front end, 2002 step side bed, re-painted ford Kodiak brown, 18's)

 

1998 ranger xlt v6 4.0L 4.0L. Just hit 140,000

 

120k on mine, bought it with about 118.5k.

Just took it on a 500 mile road trip and it ran perfectly, albeit a bit slow on the return since we were towing a trailer into a strong headwind.

 

Just hit 111,500 last week.

Basically, all original except AC Condenser or Compresser and heat accuator.

Solid vehicle, and more than happy.

 

My 2003 XL 2.3L just topped 130,455 last week. That's about 10,035 a year which is not too shabby.

 

2006 4X4 Fx4 4.0 5 spd. 132,000 miles no issues at all runs great. Pulls 20MPG hwy.

 

'96 4.0 automatic is getting ready to turn 230,000.

I have a 1988 Ford Ranger 4 wheel dr I bought for $900 10 yrs ago. Today 3/30/16 I just spun off 400 k !!!!! I love this little truck. And with the REAL 4 wh she will walk up walls!

Today, 10 years later with a Rustoleum Paint job! ( I used a quart and a 3 inch Foam Brush!) The paint job here is already 8 months old and its wearing better than the factory Paint and Ive been in Key Largo for 5 years. Salt Air is rough on an old truck!

 

at 400,000 miles it Was TIME! In the past 3 months Ive had a lot of work done to it.... Now the clutch started to slip a year ago... and when the Water pump went out recently.. ( The FIRST time anything had gone down on her in 10 years..)... So,... I did all I could to it as far as Money goes

The hardest one was this Fuel Reservoir under the driver side frame. I could not find one to replace the discontinued one from Ford that started to leak bad! Well that is until I found this site!!! I had been using 2 regular in-line fuel filters on the intake and return for a few short trips around town for about 3 weeks. It ran rough and got even worse if it got below a half of tank of gas.
Because of this site I was able to track one down!! Someone actually listed the replacement part number here. Once I had that it was easy!

Just rolled over 365,000 this past week. Bought used in 2005 with 50,105 miles on it. Daily driver with 500 miles a week put on it. Use synthetic oil. Do my own maintenance and repairs. Great truck. Love it!

 

My 2003 Ranger Edge 3.0 has 107k miles, runs well.

 

2002 4.0 4x4... 83k on it now

 

03 I4 5spd, just rolled over to 85k. Many miles left on it
