IMO as well, Toyo's are not very good tires. You see them allot because they are cheap compared to Goodyear, BF Goodrich, Michelin, etc....

Actually I have done quite a bit of reading tire reveiws and I really havent came across anything negative about these toyo tires.
For the kumhos I had kh16 kumho's on my ford windstar and it transformed into a whole new ride. it made cornering 10x better than the pirelli p4's i had with incredible wet traction. you can hit the off ramps at ungodly speeds with out so much as squeek from that tire. I wouldnt knock those chinese tire companies they make a pretty good product.
still would love to hear from some more toyo owners

I just looked at the Toyo website OPEN COUNTRY A/T | Toyo Tires and could not find the size you are referring to. The largest 16" is a LT315/75R16 121Q D/8 (35X12.5R16) which you will note is only a "D" rated tire. This is not sufficient for the Ex. The next size down LT305/70R16 124Q E/10 (33X12.5R16) is an "E" and would be the largest 16" Toyo that you could put on your Ex.

you didnt look hard enough. they do make the tire. google this.. 365 65 16 toyo and a ton of sites will come up. theyre the same as a 35x14.50 tire which i think would be perfect under my ex with a 6" lift. only offroad I do is on the beach which should be perfect.

Toyos are a very good tire. I've heard nothing but good things about the MT and I hear a lot of good things about the AT.

Seems as if the MT stays true pretty long, and seem to be good for about 40k miles consistantly.

I am going with the 285/75/18 AT here in about 4 days. I will post up some pics before and after. I can't wait to get rid of my overpriced BFGs.

I run this exact tire in the summer and the 285/75/16 in the winter. I absolutely love these tires. I had MT 34/14.5/16 Baja Belted on b4 for the sand and these perform just as well in the sand and worlds better in the streets. With the 365's I tow a 30' travel trailer with no problems. I have a 7.5' plow on the truck in the winter and these tires (285's) plow much better than the Firestone's I replaced. If you twist their arm enough, you can get the 365's at discount tire for about $920. I got tired of changing tires every time I towed the trailer and these were the perfect answer. I had to move the front bumper out about 2" to make them fit, though there is still some slight rubbing at lock. I have the 6" BDS lift kit and the tires are mounted on MT 16 X 12 rims. 8" lift would probably clear these without moving the bumper. The 365's are D rated, but load rating of 3600+ lbs. Pics are in my albums if you want to see them. Any more ?'s

Yes, I see that now. I wonder why they don't have it listed on their website.

excellent that looks really good. Do you think if i used a 16x10 rim it would clear a 6" procomp lift?

Wow! Some of the recent comments on the Toyos are a bit shocking...I have heard some bad on the Toyo MTs compared to some other options, but the AT has gotten crazy great reviews nearly everywhere I have looked and I bought them. I stinkin love them!

Toyo and Nitto are the same company and the Toyos are their high end tire line. They look similar but I hear the toyos are a bit quieter on the highway...and other subtle differences. But in no way are they cheap....dude I put down $1400 for my set and I shopped for three months for a deal.

I love the AT toyo, but if you are going MT go for Procomp or some others. Seems like you are an AT buyer...get them! You will not regret it. Oh btw. 40,000 mile warranty too!

Peace2Peep, how many miles do you have on yours? I'm putting a set on in a few days since my KOs are gonna be wayyy too worn down for winter driving.

I think the KOs were almost overrated and very expensive. Good first set of tires to get the "ko" out of the way. You know, gotta keep up with the Joneses haha

oooops. sorry for the big pics.

Well, for the bad comments on the TOYO's.... i too am shocked. I have 325/50/22 AT's. I have paid almost 1800 for mine because they were not on any sale at the time. Anyway, after reading this hread, I went out to my truck, measured the tire tread, got he mileage off the receipt, and here is what I have. I have had them for 66452 miles now. The front tires both measure 6/32" , and the rears are 5/32". They ride better than the factory tires could ever. They are an "E" load range. And are great in he mud and the snow.
