which SD parts?

So the fleet department where I work is about to clean house. We have a fleet of like 35 ambulances. They used to all be 7.3s, then some 6.0s, and now, well I'll just say they aren't PSDs. I'm trying to get permission to go "shopping" because their surplus and salvage 7.3 parts are of no use anymore.

So, what all parts can I/we use from a SD? I've got on my list an intercooler, the pipes, 120v IDM, and intake boot. I'm also gonna look for glow plugs too. Can I use any IC from 7.3 or 6.0? And what about the pipes? How can I identify the correct ones? There might be a 4r100 or two as well. Thanks in advance...

The transmission cooler off a 6.0 is supposed to be desirable.

Any 7.3 or 6.0 intercooler... spider pipe if there are any early '99's (I need a spider too)

And I know you can make the 7.3 pipes work pretty easily, and Jose used 6.0 pipes on his.

Can you deliver the 6.0 tranny cooler when I make a pit stop in Amarillo? j/k but I will be back in the states soon, and shipping will be much easier. If you get one, I'm in the market.

I'm gonna try my dangdest to get everything of value that I can. I haven't seen any of it yet but we picked up our normal truck today from getting PM'd and they made it sound like there was a lot.

Haha! They actually sell the decomissioned trucks for like $1000. They're F350 2wd auto xlt single cab duallys with ~300,000 miles. 2 captains chairs, cab and ambulance chassis. They've been maintained to the max with all OE parts. For example, when it is time for new brakes they get all new calipers, rotors, pads, hardware, and complete brake fluid flush. Aircraft style maintenance.

The 120v IDM will bolt right up and work perfectly. Its basically like doing the 140v IDM mod, just your going to get 120v instead of 140v, and you dont have to solder a 75k resistor. I believe you will get a smoother idle and better timing with your injectors. I sure someone else will chime in.
