08 expedition questions

I just purchased an expedition after having a 06 F150 and was tryign to find info on CAI and mufflers for the expedition. Is the under the hood on the 08 expedition the same as a 08 F150 that I can use a CAI for the F150 or is there a major differance? As for the muffler I want to get a growl of a flowmaster with out the resinance inside the truck, Any recomendations? Thanks

no use looking for a CAI

we've been left behind. the MAF on the Expy is located in a different place from the 04-08 F-150. And the upper intake is slightly different. can't re-use the F-150 stuff.

you can look into the 09+ F-150. they have the same motor/tranny as the 07+ Expy. I gave up looking for a CAI though.

as for mufflers...your preference. I'll never use Flowmasters again. Too loud, and everybody & their brother runs them. I prefer Magnaflow

Thanks. I was looking at getting the banks cai if I could find one that would work. Maybe if I contact them might see if I can get them to put something together for
The exp.

I am mainly looking for a more refined sound then nothing that currently get. I will check out the magnaflows next week and see if my wife likes the sound.
